I was one of the original three developers of the Eclipse Java development tools at OTI Zürich. There are people who have longer experience developing Eclipse plugins than me, but probably not more than 10-15 in the world. I've then gone on to work with the J9 VM Team at OTI Canada in Ottawa. I was responsible for the debugger interfaces, but helped out with lots of other stuff. Back in Switzerland, I stayed with OTI/IBM for another year. Then I moved on to Ecofin AG, a small company developing software for investment consulting. In a small team, you have to do everything yourself, so I had the opportunity to work on (among other things): a service framework, a licensing system, a distributed job execuction framework, etc.etc. One of the most pleasant surprises was to discover Wicket, the best web framework I've seen. If you need convincing that Wicket can slash your development costs in two, I'd be glad to give you a presentation.I'm self-employed since August last year and have recently completed a project at Tonbeller AG in Germany. I had the opportunity to learn more about the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and the Graphical Editing Framework (GEF) For more precise information, You might want to have a look at my Resume Whatever the technology, I can help you in all phases of software development.
